The Role
The role of Health and Safety Manager is focused on the continuation of driving a culture of safety across the business. The key duties will include the following:
- Develop, review and maintain the Health and Safety Management System;
- Conduct training and presentations for health & safety matters;
- Conduct safety audits across all sites and identify risks;
- Develop initiatives to promote Health & Safety improvement strategies across the business; and
- Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adhere to regulations.
Your BackgroundIn order to be successful in this role, you will:
- Have extensive experience as a health & safety professional within an FMCG business;
- Have a strong track record in driving a safety culture across the business;
- Have a thorough understanding of OH&S legislation and the ability to educate and train.
