Seeking the best Sales & Business Development Manager! (Gold Coast, QLD)

Our client is Australia's leading luxury yacht charter company, boasting a fleet of luxury motor yachts, including the world-renowned YOT Club, the world's first super yacht entertainment venue licensed for up to 400 guests. They redefine hospitality with exceptional services, creating unique and memorable experiences on the water for any occasion. The business is expanding rapidly with the introduction of new luxury charter vessels, bringing exciting new hospitality experiences to the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
 
 
As the Sales and Business Development Manager, your role will involve maximizing sales revenue across all of our client's unique and highly regarded luxury vessel venues, encompassing charter, catering, and beverage sales.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Sales and event coordination professionals to maximize results.
  • Manage valuable inbound sales leads with a “lead by example” approach and a focus on conversions.
  • Champion the best practice use of the Hubspot CRM platform as the central sales reporting dashboard and sales accountability tool.
  • Use CRM data to drive customer loyalty and retention.
  • Drive and manage the team on effective Business Development initiatives.
  • Manage demand pricing strategies.
  • Manage the use of digital outbound cold lead generation tools.
  • Forge long-lasting relationships with industry partners in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
  • Build a customer service-focused culture.
 
Skills:
  • Experience in Sales and Business Development roles with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional team management skills.
  • Advanced experience with using a CRM, preferably Hubspot or similar.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with the events industry is a plus, but not required. What matters most is your ability to lead a sales-focused team.
