As the Sales and Marketing Coordinator, you will manage our sports apparel and merchandising customer accounts and have responsibility for both apparel development, product design and specifications and co-ordinating the marketing and sale of merchandise at merchandising events as well as throughout our online stores.

We are looking for a well-rounded and motivated person who ideally has either worked in the product design and development space or has a Sales and/or marketing background and is interested in upskilling.

Who is CIMC Group?
 

CIMC Group is a family-operated group of businesses located in Murarrie that designs, sources and distributes a wide range of promotional, corporate and sporting products.  Our businesses include Corporate Image Marketing (corporate products), Hoop2Hoop (basketball apparel and goods) and Unite Sports (general sportswear and products), and our clientele ranges from large well-known national corporations to small businesses and sporting associations.

We are currently a small close-knit team going through a growth phase and are looking for the right candidate to grow with us.  It could be you!

The role

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

Customer Account and Program Management: Take charge of managing and administering customer accounts and programs, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Sales Administration: Support the sales team with administrative tasks to facilitate smooth sales processes and maintain accurate records.

Apparel and Merchandise Design: Utilize Adobe Illustrator to prepare detailed product specifications and designs for our apparel and merchandise, ensuring alignment with brand standards and market trends.

Customer Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for our apparel and merchandising customers, promptly responding to inquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional service.

E-commerce and Online Store Maintenance: Manage our online retail stores, including updating product listings, managing inventory, and optimizing user experience for increased sales.

Social Media and Online Presence: Drive our brand's online presence through social media platforms, creating engaging content and leveraging marketing channels to enhance visibility and engagement.

Marketing Material Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and develop marketing materials, distributing them effectively through social media, email campaigns, and other marketing channels.

Event Coordination: Occasionally travel within Queensland and interstate for merchandise events and client meetings, representing our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of merchandising and sales projects.

Reporting: Provide regular reports to management on marketing and sales projects, highlighting key metrics and insights.

Project Management: Administer and manage merchandising projects in collaboration with management, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met effectively.

Flexibility: Be open to performing any other tasks required by senior management to ensure the successful operation of the business.

As a small business, we do work very closely as a team and require everyone to pitch in with areas of the business from time to time. 

Skills and experience

Previous experience in a similar role is not required, but you must be willing and able to hit the ground running and learn on the go. Ideally, you will be proficient in Adobe Illustrator (or willing to learn), and have some experience in one or more of these areas:

• Not required but a plus - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other relevant design software.
• Previous experience in merchandising, sales administration, or related roles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Salary

This is a salary guide only and may be more or less depending on your level of experience and perceived value you can bring to the business. 

NEGOTIABLE – $65,000 to $75,000, plus superannuation.
