Role Overview:
As a Sales and Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the SALES AND MARKETING expansion of Orchid Wine Estate Pty. Ltd. product lines across Asia and other export markets.
This is a full-time role based in Adelaide, South Australia.
Your primary tasks/responsibilities will be:
- Lead the marketing team to develop and implement a comprehensive SALES AND MARKETING strategy to penetrate Asian and other export markets, focusing on Orchid product lines.
- Create and reinforce a strong brand image that resonates with our target market, by implementing creative strategies to foster brand loyalty and aligning marketing and sales efforts with our brand values and messaging.
- Manage the effective execution of the marketing strategy in the Asian region.
- Lead the marketing team to develop strategies to engage with potential distributors, retailers, and food & and beverage service providers, building long-term partnerships and sales channels.
- Direct the effective communication of the unique selling points and value propositions of our products to potential customers, highlighting their superior quality and benefits.
- Manage the marketing team to develop analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure effective execution of SALES AND MARKETING strategies
- Directing the development and management of sales reports, market analysis, and forecasts, highlighting key performance indicators and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or at least 5 years full time work experience in lieu of a qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SALES AND MARKETING and business development.
• Proven success in opening and selling into new markets.
• Strong existing retail and distribution network and relationships within Asian markets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region and other export markets as required.
• Proficiency in English and other relevant languages is highly advantageous.
