AMAC Customs & Logistics is seeking an ambitious & self-motivated Sales Executive to join our growing business. You will join a small, friendly, high-quality team that has a wealth of experience and who will support your professional growth in this industry.

Clients draw upon our experience to solve complex global logistical problems with speed, accuracy, and agility. We provide significant specialist capability with respect to Australian import and export Customs clearance and international supply chain management, including extensive dealings with quarantine and other government permit issuing and regulatory authorities; global trade compliance and duty minimisation; freight forwarding by all modes; aircraft charter; and a range of complementary general and consulting services.

In conjunction with our global network partners, we create tailor-made solutions to improve our clients’ logistics processes and bottom-line outcomes. In your day-to-day, you will work to provide a high level of service to our existing and new customers. You will contribute to our overall sales strategy by developing long-term relationships with existing clients to understand their needs and help guide them with the best options for their cargo, whilst identifying and pursuing emerging sales opportunities.

Salary base package negotiable in excess of $120k + super + market leading commission structure with uncapped earning potential + work from home

Reporting directly to the senior management team and business owners, your strong experience in the international freight forwarding sector will ensure you have the depth of knowledge to develop and take ownership of your pipelines. 

What are we looking for:

  1. Relationship-based sales management experience with the confidence to develop productive dealings with clients through direct and indirect sales activities – including to deliver and exceed sales targets through effective sales and service product management.
  2. Productive time management researching, growing, and maintaining a healthy pipeline based on domestic and international leads, and be proactive in all forms of meetings – internal, client facing or online, including professionally representing the company in industry/market related activities, as part of the greater team and independently.
  3. The ability to proactively identify and act on commercial opportunities – with the ability to think laterally to problem solve in our client’s best interests.  
  4. Excellent communication skills in-person, over the phone, and via email – including maintaining standard CRM in the forwarding software, developing standard sales related operating procedures, and implement new trade lanes through a consultative approach with our agent networks.
  5. Previous experience in the air/sea/project freight forwarding, transport and logistics industry, both import and export – including preparation and negotiation of bids, RFQ’s and quotations with customers, suppliers, and overseas agents.
