Sales Consultant

Centurion Garage Doors is calling for an experienced and dedicated professional to take up the exciting and challenging role of Sales Consultant. 

About us

Centurion Building Products, an Australian family-owned manufacturer with a national presence, operates under two divisions:

• Centurion Garage Doors - our garage doors division which has operations across the country and has been servicing builders, resellers and homeowners for over 45 years; and
• Centurion Framing Systems - our new but rapidly expanding metal framing division that supplies and installs steel roof, wall and flooring systems to the local building industry.

About the Role

An exciting position with a clear focus to ensure sales of the company’s product in nominated areas and that those sales are at margins suitable to the company. This Role has recently become available due to a long-term Representative reaching Retirement.  We are looking for a new Sales Consultant that can take on and manage an established customer base within the Small Builder Market.

Key Objectives

• Support and service existing key clients with professionalism, ethics, and honesty.
• Achieving sales in accordance with the sales budgets.
• Meeting the company’s customers on site as required.
• Identifying customer’s requirements and tailoring the company’s proposal to suit those needs.
• Regularly following up the customers and proposals.
• Maintaining excellent product knowledge.
• Contributing and assisting with the overall activities of the sales team.

Who we are looking for

• Have a proven history of account management
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in time management
• Understanding of the building industry
• Outstanding sales and negotiation skills
• Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
• Background in garage door industry well regarded but not essential
