About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to learn the art of sales from the ‘best in the business’!
As our Sales Coordinator you will provide daily administrative support critical to the success of our high performing sales team as they sell premium corporate hospitality packages to over 20 major sporting & concert events annually; including some of Australia’s most iconic sporting events such as the F1 Australian Grand Prix, State of Origin series and Melbourne Cup Carnival.
As the Sales Coordinator you will play a key role in maximising revenue by efficiently executing steps in the client booking process, maintaining accurate booking records, managing our client database and generating a range of reports. You will also be responsible for fostering strong client relationships and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction through clear, accurate and timely communication with both prospective and existing clients.
On a daily basis your responsibilities will include:
- Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
- Generate, process and file event booking forms
- Maintain client list and event bookings
- Salesforce administration
- Create/send booking and event communications to clients
- Lead sourcing as required by sales team

What are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Very strong computer literacy and Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel & Outlook)
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure
You will set yourself apart from other candidates if you can demonstrate any or all of the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a fast paced sales environment
- Understanding of and experience using Salesforce
- Prior use of Mailchimp (or similar platform)
