Responsibilities of this role
- Responsible for the sales growth and business development of the given territory for the concerned segment(s) of the business
- Responsible for business development by calling on new and existing customers to understand their needs and match our products and services to meet these needs
- Maintain a comprehensive database of clients and prospects, with reports on calls and follow-up actions, using CRM Microsoft Dynamics
- Enter into an efficient selling process with each prospect to create the dynamics leading to the best outcomes for both parties, using process selling techniques
- Create and maintain excellent relationships with existing customers through regular, planned visits
- Actively participate in tendering processes
- Attend trade shows and actively participate in promotion of products as required
- Compile list of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, trade shows, the Internet, and other sources in a CRM
- Investigate and resolve customer problems together with internal staff.
Skills needed for role
- Ability to work out of a home office - laptop, phone etc will be provided
- Relevant experience in Sales and a consistent track record of achieving sales growth and goals
- Degree/Diploma/Trade qualification is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Good computer skills - experience in Microsoft 365/CRM and SAP or similar an advantage
- Professional mature approach and business acumen.
- Ability and desire to learn about new products and services
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Technical skills and knowledge an advantage - however training available
- Willing to learn
Training on products and processes will be offered to the right candidate at our head office in Melbourne.
