The Whiteheads Timber Sales group operates a mid-sized saw mill supplying into wholesale markets, primarily in SA and Victoria. Over the years Whiteheads has developed a strong presence in the local timber industry, built around a reputation for providing dependable, consistent quality products and effective customer service.
We are now seeking an experienced Sales Professional who can facilitate B2B sales across industrial, agricultural, construction, and general timber markets.
This role is responsible for:
- Servicing a strong existing customer base
- Managing the entire sales flow from quote to delivery
- Pricing policies and strategic initiatives
- Identifying and initiating new sales opportunities within the company’s strategic scope
The ideal candidate will have a background in sales to building, hardware or agricultural sectors. The following skills will be highly regarded:
- A successful background in business-to-business sales
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong commercial acumen with a good understanding of end-to-end financials
- Sales / Business Development / Account Management expertise
- A competent level of computer literacy
