Sales Specialist - Agricultural / Structural

Position: Sales Specialist - Agricultural / Structural
Location: 30 minutes NE of Listowel, ON
Salary: $100,000 yearly + Commission
Industry: Sales / Agriculture / Construction / Industrial
Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prospect and qualify potential clients within the respective industry
• Conduct assessments to understand customers’ requirements and challenges
• Present and demonstrate the products and services effectively
• Build and grow relationships with relevant agricultural industry partners.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, ensuring alignment with customer expectations
• Negotiate contracts and terms to close deals while maintaining customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of sales activities and customer interactions on CRM system
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities and market developments
• Attend trade shows and industry events to promote the products and build a network within the target market
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through a strategic and customer focused approach
• Perform other tasks as assigned in support of the business

Qualifications & Experience:

• Post Secondary education or degree in livestock management or a related field
• 10 years Agricultural sales experience preferably in animal husbandry and/or animal nutrition
• Excellent negotiation and sales skills required
• Familiarity with CRM Software and other sales tools
• Proficient in using Microsoft Suite programs
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a part of a collaborative team
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
