About the role
Main tasks: Your primary function is to sell industry-leading diagnostic products in Melbourne's western suburbs and some regional parts of Victoria in that area. Customers will include various medical environments, education institutions, and laboratories.

Other tasks:

  • Work with existing and prospective customers, selling high-quality solutions
  • Utilise your solution-oriented sales approach to match products with client needs
  • Spend at least 70% of your time working with customers face-to-face, over the phone, and video conference when required
  • Design and implement effective sales management plans for your region
  • Provide customer problem-solving and troubleshooting support to ensure seamless product adoption and usage
  • Use the business CRM to its full capacity, efficiently managing your sales pipeline
  • Participate in seminars, demonstrations, and presentations.

What you must have to apply for this role:

  • A degree in life sciences or a similar field
  • Proven success in a relatable sales role, ideally in life sciences
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, & interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel to regional Victoria and occasionally interstate

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

  • Demonstrable experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Experience with CRM management tools
  • Knowledge of digital biology technologies.
