About the Role
Flexshield is actively seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Support professional to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Primary Sales team with quotation requests, order entry, reporting, and online assistance. Effective communication is key, and your customer-centric approach will significantly contribute to maintaining our high standards of precision and quality in delivering noise control solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations for products/services, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to profitability targets.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry pricing trends and competitor offerings.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate cost-effective terms and ensure favorable pricing for quotations.
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date pricing database for products/services.
- Provide detailed and clear documentation of quotations, including terms, conditions, and any special requirements.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and tailor quotations to meet specific requirements.
- Respond to inquiries and clarification requests related to quotations promptly.
- Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches, ensuring the sales team is well-informed.
- Review pending orders and specific customer requests to ensure excellent customer service and a positive customer experience.
- Propose sales process improvements to contribute to the company's success.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in providing accurate and timely quotes.
- Strong commitment to customer service and professionalism.
- Collaborative mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High levels of self-organization, motivation, and initiative.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar software is a plus.
- Knowledge of noise control solutions and related industries is advantageous.
