As we continue our path of success and growth, we are excited to be looking for a person to support our sales team.
We are seeking a motivated and energetic person to join our team as a Sales Coordinator. In this position, you play a crucial role in supporting our sales function by providing support to our clients over the phone or via email and helping to process their orders.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Customer Order Processing: Efficiently manage and process customer orders with a focus on accuracy.
- Sales Team Assistance: Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide administrative support, including quote status updates, product information, and customer communication.
- Quotation Preparation: Assist in the preparation of sales quotations, working closely with the sales team to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Customer Communication: Maintain positive and proactive communication with customers to address enquiries, provide order updates, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings to assist customers and provide accurate information to the sales team.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain organised records of customer communication, sales activities, and quote updates. Generate reports as needed to support the sales team function.
- Despatch / Goods Receipting Support: Assisting in the (picking & packing) Despatch and Goods Receipting areas, as required, to ensure continuity of work flow and meeting of deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Sales Support or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of traffic control and safety products is a plus.
