Randstad is proud to partner with an independent statutory body under the Queensland Government which is responsible for implementing and administering a rigorous integrity framework to the industry. The Sample Management Team is responsible for the logistics to facilitate the collection of samples to be sent to centre for testing. This role will provide technical support to the RSC laboratory to ensure delivery of high-quality analytical data in appropriate timeframes.Duties:

• Participate in the preparation, dispatch, and receiving of various secure sample kits and bags.
• Ensure that sample bags are dispatched efficiently, accurately and in accordance with the SMT procedures/policies.
• When required to do so, liaise with business units to ensure correct sample kits are delivered to the designated locations and are returned by the due dates.
• Protect the integrity and security of the Sample Management Area by managing the adherence to current work instructions, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Report all non-compliances in the packaging of the samples and update the database of security bag and kit usage against the annual quota.

Skills & Experience:

• A minimum of Certificate III in laboratory techniques
• Some technical laboratory skills in sample handling would be an advantage but not required
• Able to demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn essential logistics and workflows necessary for supporting a modern analytical laboratory

It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives.
