Duties
- Accountable and responsible for the delivery of all Master Data related activities including but not limited to, the extraction, translation and loading of master data, the BAU Master Data processes, the signoff of data loads and BAU processes
- The project will be extracting Data from multiple SAP systems and feeding it into a new Advanced Planning System (APS) so there will be a need to be able to work with key stakeholders on developing target state data and its values. There will also be transactional data that will be exported and transposed back to ‘source system values’ prior to import in APS. Candidate must be able think end to end considering design decision implications on both process and data.
- Candidate will need to be able to work autonomously and as part of a team building and maintaining the necessary relationships to perform their duties. They will need to be proactive in identifying and solving data related issues while being able to meet expected deadlines. They will need to be able to do this in a fast paced and complex environment.
Demonstrate skills & experience in the following:
- Running Master Data workshops (gap fit analysis, business rules, etc.)
- Planning and managing data loads for testing and production.
- Co-ordinating master data validation and signoffs.
- Master Data maintenance process design and implementation.
- Managing a team of Master Data analysts
- Implementing an Advanced Planning System
- Designing and negotiating standardisation of transformation and construction of data with key stakeholders
- Extracting and working with data from SAP
- Demand and Supply Planning Data (e.g. demand plans, supply plans, planned orders, etc.)
- ESupply Chain data (e.g. customers, sales, pricing, rebates, etc.)
- Manufacturing Data (e.g. materials, bills of materials, routing instructions, capacity constraints, etc.)
- Exposure to Financial data
- Standardising/transforming data from multiple systems, cleansing data, constructing data, Data validation post loading
- Experience in FMCG preferred
