Seeking an experienced SAP PM to manage an integrator on an S/4 HANA upgrade & migration, excellent vendor and stakeholder management required.
We're seeking an ICT Project Manager to deliver an upgrade of SAP S/4 HANA 1709 to S/4 HANA 2021 and migration of 'On-Prem' to SAP RISE Private Cloud. The ICT Project Manager will also be responsible for managing resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and systems/software development lifecycle control guidelines throughout the full upgrade and migration life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.
The ICT Project Manager has the authority and responsibility to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the benefits defined in the business case.
Duties
- Drive timely delivery of approved enhancements and projects, including change management ensuring business stakeholders are kept up to date on progress through appropriate channels
- Undertake timely and effective management of risks and resolution of issues arising during delivery of enhancements and projects, addressing the issues within tolerances including elevating in timely manner for management direction
- Obtain completion of business sign-off for delivered projects, ensuring business requirements have effectively been met
- Facilitate cross-functional project team meetings.
- Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
- Manage project delivery teams, Project Steering Committees and escalate key risks and issues complete with recommendations to resolve identified risks and issues
- Ensure any change requirements are documented and approved by the Steerco prior to committing project resources.
- Work analytically and creatively using teamwork, innovation, and excellence to solve problems.
- Deliver Project Status reports, timesheets and project administrative paperwork in line with organisation's standards.
- Develop and execute a communication strategy for all project stakeholders for projects.
- Report on project status, progress, metrics, risks, test results, and deployment activities.
- Providing feedback, advice, and encouragement to all project team members.
- Work in collaboration with other ICT Project Managers to ensure business and ICT resources are managed effectively and projects are delivered within the overall portfolio constraints, and in line with corporate strategy.
- Coordinate with external partners, clients, vendors, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with Organisational Change Management resources to ensure an effective and controlled business transition from project to operations
- Active engagement and building of strong Business relationships across the business
- Build organisational respect and trust with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Developing the business relationship as a trusted advisor with respect to project delivery
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- At least five years related experience in project management, planning, and tracking, predominantly within an SAP implementation environment
- High level of experience working with business stakeholders in FMCG, manufacturing or supply chain industries.
- Experience with and understanding of full project or product lifecycle.
- Proficiency with project management tools and related technologies.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership, drive results, solve problems, and possess interpersonal skills from prior work situations.
- Experience in different project management methodologies.
- Experience gathering requirements, business analysis, and documentation.
