You will ideally demonstrate highly effective skills in situational analysis, problem conceptualisation and the identification of strengths and needs to inform decision making at the individual, group, and systemic levels in order to support a tiered model of service delivery. In addition, the School Psychologist will take a lead role in supporting the development of our expanding Student Support Team that is committed to improving health and wellbeing of our students.The successful applicant will ideally have a high level of written and oral communication skills and work to build capacity and understanding of staff of best practice intervention, demonstrating the capacity to produce correspondence, reports and case notes, and interview and training (facilitation) skills. They will also preferably have strong interpersonal skills, which demonstrate an ability to function in a self-directed way, and as a member of an interdisciplinary team, working with a range of clients, Department personnel and inter-agency partners across a variety of contexts.Exmouth is a small coastal community situated in the remote Northwest of Western Australia.
