What you'll be doing
The Sydney Child Health Program (SCHP) is an online, graduate-entry one year part-time, comprehensive continuing professional development education program in paediatrics for doctors, nurses and allied health professionals that aims to enhance knowledge, skills and confidence in treating children and adolescents. This program offers an excellent overview of evidence based current best practice in paediatrics covering more than 30 sub-specialties from neonates to adolescents presented by more than 90 renowned clinicians from the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, the University of Sydney and collaborating institutions.
The primary activities of this role are to provide day to day technical support to the department of Sydney Child Health Program (SCHP) and contribute to ongoing projects that drive continuous improvement across the program. These activities will be under the direction of the Business, Systems and Project Manager (BSPM) and it is a high level critical support role which directly contributes towards business and operational key objectives of the SCHP.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience; or equivalent combination of knowledge and relevant experience. Experience in APIs and Microsoft’s Power Platform, especially Dynamics 365 / Power Automate, is looked upon favourably.
- Highly developed techno functional skills, including demonstrated experience in analysing business processes and thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Well-developed written communication skills, including proven ability to produce accurate and meaningful documentation such as business requirements, functional specifications, flow charts, test scripts, project reports, manuals and presentations.
- High level interpersonal, communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and the demonstrated ability to identify and negotiate mutually acceptable solutions in situations of differing interest.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team to support the achievement of organisational objectives.
- Demonstrate flexible and adaptable work practices at all times to support SCHP business needs.
