The Position
Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School is seeking to employ a Secondary Science Teacher that can teach ATAR Chemistry, but experience in other disciplines welcome.
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must hold, or be able to obtain, current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA) and a valid Working with Children Check.
The successful candidate must demonstrate:
- a robust working knowledge of the Western Australian Science Curriculum;
- their ability to provide a differentiated curriculum to meet the diverse needs of individual students, including students with Special Education Needs and those who excel in their studies;
- a positive and caring approach to student wellbeing, with the ability to develop productive relationships with students within the context of the School’s Code of Conduct, Policies, and Procedures;
- an enjoyment of working with young people and the ability to establish a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all students;
- a willingness to contribute to wider School programs, such as co-curricular activities, camps, and other school-based initiatives.
