We are a Uniting Church day and boarding school for girls, Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 located in Como, close to the river and Perth CBD. You can read more about our strategic direction and what it means to us here. 

The College is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Media & Art to join the Creative Arts and Design Department for Term 3 2024 on a maximum term contract to cover leave.

This part-time position will teach across Years 7 to 10, across the five (5) day timetable. The successful candidate must be a passionate and dedicated educator with the ability to teach in all or one area of Art & Media

The successful applicant will have:
  • A Bachelor of Education or a degree qualification supported by a Post Graduate Diploma of Education 
  • Current TRBWA Membership including a Working with Children card (WWC)
  • Commitment to the College’s Core Shared values of Respect, Integrity, Empathy, Knowledge, Growth and Synergy. 
  • Commitment to providing students with a safe, supportive and respectful learning environment.

The following essential criteria must be addressed with evidence in the cover letter document: 

  1. Excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum
  2. Demonstrated ability to differentiate learning experiences to cater for the learning needs of all students.
  3. Ability to integrate technology into curriculum delivery to provide opportunity for students to develop 21st Century Skills.
