Position: Sector Development Officer - Targeted Earlier Invention (TEI)
Status: Permanent Part Time, One position available with a choice of either 14 hours ( over 2 days) or 15 hours (over 3 days) per week
Grade: Grade 4 - Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Services Industry Award 2010 ($41.52 – $44.68 per hour)
Reporting To: Executive Director
Position Purpose: To support, inform, provide strategic direction and resource the community service sector across South Western Sydney, prioritising Macarthur and Wingecarribee in order to provide better outcomes for families, young people and children.
Key Tasks include: Facilitating interagencies and working parties, representing sector connect and collaborating with key stakeholders, organising training, disseminating information and sharing with the sector, responding to enquiries from the sector and approving the weekly newsletter when required.

Essential Criteria- Tertiary qualification – bachelor's degree or equivalent related to the community service sector (social science, psychology, social work, community welfare, early childhood, policy, etc.) and experience working in or in partnership with the community service sector
- Sound analytical skills
- Strong people skills with an ability to facilitate networks/groups and encourage a collaborative approach to the region through partnerships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competency in Microsoft software packages including Outlook, Publisher, Word, Excel and the Internet
- Able to be flexible in your approach and use initiative
- Able to work independently and as part of a diverse team
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Understand and comply with Worker Health and Safety Legislation, policies & procedures and inclusive practice
- A willingness to provide a Working with Children Check and undergo a National Criminal Records Check
- Experience in or knowledge of child, youth and family-related programs
- Current Drivers License
