Security Communications Manager

Group Security protects the bank and our customers from theft, loss and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy, fraud, physical security and operational risk.
Do work that matters:
You will advance the Security Integration team mission by supporting the Senior Manager to uplift our ability to engage internal and external audiences to share security insights leveraged from operational data, intelligence and subject matter expertise.
Your work will drive improved situational awareness and promote informed decision-making amongst our senior leaders.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement communications plans with a focus on content planning.
Content writing and development on technical subject matters including cybersecurity and fraud for a range of channels and formats (including articles, key messages, Q&A, briefing and speaker notes).
Working with subject matter experts across data and analysis, and security to identify and develop insights that are relevant and actionable to target audiences.
Working with colleagues in Marketing and Corporate Affairs to support the translation of subject matter expertise and insights for external and customer communications, events, and campaigns.
Develop strong working relationships with leaders from across Group Security to provide strategic communication advice and support, enabling them to develop their understanding of communication and enhance their skills.
Measure and continue to evolve communications programs, and identify potential gaps.
Monitor internal and external environments for potential issues and reputational risk.
We are interested in hearing from people who have experience in:
Content planning ,strategy and communications
Content writing and editing skills across a range of styles and formats, preferably making technical or complex subject matter accessible and understandable.
Complex environments working, building and managing relationships with stakeholders from across the business (including senior and C-suite). .
Strong Analytical skills -Leveraging data insights and subject matter experience to plan, develop and coordinate messaging, content and activities across a range of teams and channels.
Prioritising a backlog of work based on risk and an evolving threat landscape.
You will:
Have a research mindset and curiosity to explore and disaggregate complex problems.
Be confident and have the ability to work independently and to manage/execute tasks within set timeframes.
