We are in search of an individual who excels in teamwork, has outstanding management and leadership abilities, and who comprehends and upholds the significance of professional integrity. This position reports to the Security Manager and primarily involves (but is not limited to):
- General and specific security tasks relating to Asset Security, Event Security, Service Yard, Loading Dock, Security Control Room (SCR), and Event Control Room (ECR) operations.
- Assist with the daily operational functions of running the SCR including but not limited to the Arena Building Management Control System (BMCS), Integrated Access Control Security System, and the Building Fire Monitoring System.
- Supervising and controlling the day-to-day access to the Arena for all visitors, including deliveries, site inspections, service contractors, and event-related activities.
- Maintain a tight and regimented perimeter security function at all times, ensuring the building's integrity is not compromised in any way.
- Monitor and maintain records of the daily staff, contractor, and visitor sign-in / out and Building Site inductions.
- Maintain control of the distribution and recovery of all keys, identification cards, access swipe cards, temporary passes, and gate remotes to the Arena at all times.

The nature of this role requires a certain set of qualifications and licenses. These include:
- Advanced communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
- High level of attention to detail.
- A sound level of Behavioural Awareness and security protocol competencies.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy is essential, particularly in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Sound working knowledge of security systems including but not limited to CCTV, Building Management Control Systems (BMCS), Integrated Access Control Systems, and Building Fire Monitoring Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Current Security Licence Class 1 ACE.
- Certificate III in Security Operations.
- Work Health and Safety General Induction (White Card).
- Current Occupational First Aid & Advanced Resuscitation, Auto Defibrillator.
- Current approved RSA certification valid in NSW.
- A current Police Check.
