About Free Folk Agency: 

Free Folk Agency is an independent PR and Communications Agency specialising in Influencer Marketing, PR, Events and Social Media Marketing. We are a close-knit team of marketers and communication specialists who are energetic, creative and results-driven, and we’re looking for someone with demonstrated initiative, creativity and strategic thinking to join our team. 

Our client roster spans multiple industries, including food and beverage, fashion, property, business, health and wellness, hospitality, beauty, and service-based businesses. 

The Role: 

Reporting to the Account Director, you will work across the day-to-day execution of social media (paid and organic) and influencer marketing campaigns to deliver exceptional client results and experience.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about social media and the influencer landscape in Australia and New Zealand, has an understanding of platform and industry insights and trends, and has demonstrated knowledge and experience running marketing activity across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest. 

Responsibilities Include: 

Social Media: 

  • Actively consume social media content and keep up to date with AU/NZ social media trends to stay up to date with social media trends, industry insights and platform best practices, and share knowledge with internal and external teams. 
  • Write attention-grabbing, informative and creative copy for client social media accounts. 
  • Create and curate content assets, including basic graphic design and video editing, in alignment with the social media strategy and in consultation with Account Director and Company Directors. 
  • Assist Account Director to deliver integrated social media campaigns across both paid and organic channels. 
  • Implement day-to-day delivery and optimisation of organic social media strategies, including scheduling approved social media content via assigned social media platforms and tools. 
  • Implement day-to-day delivery and optimisation of paid social media strategies including ad builds, content development, copywriting, scheduling and budget management. 
  • Amplify and boost organic social media activity across owned social media channels and influencer campaigns. 
  • Community management across client social accounts. 
  • Collect and compile data for reporting review and analysis. 
  • Format reports. 
  • Be accountable for helping achieve set KPIs and working on high-quality social media campaigns. 

Influencer Marketing: 

  • Read the media and keep up to date with the AU/NZ influencer landscape and industry trends. 
  • Build and maintain influencer databases and lists for each client, and support the broader team in developing customised influencer lists across our client portfolio. 
  • Assist the team on project management and coordination of suppliers for influencer gifting drives. 
  • End-to-end coordination of influencer collaborations and partnerships aligned to the campaign strategy. 
  • Write clear, concise and easy-to-digest influencer briefs, strategy documents and reports. 
  • Develop creative content angles and influencer concepts that achieve cut-through and drive impact for our clients. 
  • Tap into your existing influencer, content creator, media personality and talent manager contacts, as well as form new relationships to negotiate talent deals in the client’s best interests. 
  • Collect and compile data for reporting review and analysis. 
  • Format reports. 
  • Be accountable for helping achieve set coverage KPIs and generating high-quality influencer marketing campaigns. 

Your Experience: 

  • 1-2 years of agency experience in a social media, influencer marketing and/or digital marketing role. 
  • Existing influencer and talent manager relationships. 
  • An understanding of and demonstrated experience working in the social media and influencer marketing landscape in Australia and New Zealand. 
  • Strong copywriting, proofing and grammar skills and the ability to engage with various target audiences. 
  • Great communication and excellent relationship skills. 
  • The ability to speak to your experience and share a proven track record of successful campaigns you have worked on.
