We are currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to join the Risk Management Team in Brisbane. The small team specialise in the provision of insurance assisting with existing policy holders and new business quotes.

Their primary focus is providing customer service and portfolio management to both new and existing clients, whilst developing new relationships (internal & external) to achieve growth in line with Practice budgets. This role has scope for growth individuals with the right experience may also have their own portfolio.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Develop and strengthen internal relationships between Marsh divisions nationally (Commercial, Corporate & Risk Management)
• Responsible for client retention and revenue growth targets
• Develop new business opportunities through the existing client base, as well as through internal relationships with Marsh colleagues.
• Manage administrative responsibilities of their portfolio through accurate, efficient and timely production of all policy and related documentation
• Follow company record retention procedures within documented timeframes, including system client noting and electronic filing of all documents
• Adhere to Marsh quality practices, including following all Marsh and Private Client procedures
• Work closely with insurers to negotiate favorable solutions for clients
• Keep clients informed of emerging trends and new products
• Adhere to protocols around application of fees, commission levels and revenue recognition
• Report as required on financial performance of portfolio
• Provide leadership, training and coaching to team members, as required
• Attend client and staff meetings with professionalism
• Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding across the broader Marsh Group
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the core aspects of relevant Insurance and related legislation
• Some travel required and other related duties as required.

• General insurance experience of no less than 5 years
• Tier 1 FSRA qualified essential
