Job Description:Senior AccountantAbout The RoleExciting opportunity for an experienced
Senior Accountant to join our Asia Pacific finance function and work closely with Hansen management across multiple jurisdictions including Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam and India. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a lead role in managing the finance function, supporting the Finance Director and the Corporate team and mentor team members within the Finance team.
About YouProven experience in a similar role preferably within an ASX-listed company, technology sector or big 4 accounting firms. Sound knowledge of accounting & reporting systems and ability to simplify reporting and financial data to all levels of stakeholders. You will also have:
- experience in managing corporate tax, transfer pricing, GST, BAS and FBT (including any tax compliance matters).
- high-level of analytical skills, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.
- degree in accounting, finance, commerce and CA, or CPA.
Key Responsibilities- Performing day-to-day accounting activities, including month-end close for Australia, New Zealand and Vietnam.
- Ensuring balance sheet integrity by reviewing and reporting on all balance sheet reconciliations.
- Providing monthly insights for APAC reporting, including project profitability and detailed P&L analysis of key focus areas.
- Maintaining data integrity of the general ledger and ensuring financial information is compliant with accounting standards.
- Assisting in the half yearly and annual financial audit and statutory reporting process.
- Liaising with external auditors, outsourced service provider and bankers.
- Coordinating and preparing APAC's annual budget and quarterly forecast.
- Reviewing payroll for Australia, New Zealand and Vietnam.
- Reviewing cashflow forecast for APAC region.
- Manage APAC's corporate tax, transfer pricing, GST, BAS and FBT (including any tax compliance matters).
- Assisting the Global Corporate team with ad-hoc tasks.
