Senior Accountant/Manager

As a Senior Accountant/Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the financial health of the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, be CA/CPA or IPA qualified, and have a proven track record in financial reporting, management reporting, tax planning, taxation, and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Due to growth the Directors are now looking to add to the already successful team with an experienced Senior Tax Accountant on a full - time basis.

Our office is located in Mandurah.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Supervise, and mentor team members to prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS and other business compliance requirements.
• Contribute to a client-focused team and supportive workplace culture.
• Attend training sessions, including participation, ideas, and knowledge to enhance other team members.
• Prepare financial statements, tax returns and activity statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
• Run client meetings for small businesses and personal tax clients.
• Assist Directors and Managers with tax planning, research, and advice.
• Network to strengthen WealthVisory’s brand to build and maintain client relationships.
• Keep updated with changes to accounting standards, tax laws and other regulatory requirements.

About You 

• You are degree qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Business or similar qualifications.
• CA/CPA or IPA qualification.
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Senior Accountant/Manager.
• You are able to prepare complex individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns.
• You are able to coach and mentor junior team members, using good communication skills to share your knowledge.

• You are competent in using Excel and other Microsoft Office products, MYOB and Xero products.
• You will also possess a high level of initiative and organisational skills, able to manage work for various clients to achieve deadlines.
