Your Opportunity
As the Senior Advisor, HR Projects: you will be responsible for:
* Develop and implementing key strategic human resource initiatives across TAFE Queensland.
* Managing a variety of projects across the full employee life cycle including organisational capability, leadership development, employee engagement and workforce planning.
This position reports to the Strategic Projects Manager, Human Resources.
This is a Permanent Full time position.
The position will be based primarily at Mount Gravatt however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development and implementation of key human resource strategies and projects to meet the organisational objectives outlined in the TAFE Queensland Workforce Plan.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships, provide advice, influence and consult with key stakeholders to ensure human resource projects address the needs of the TAFE Queensland workforce and are delivered on time and within budget.
* Critically analyse workforce requirements, workforce management data, employee feedback and identify trends across TAFE Queensland to inform human resource strategy and associated projects.
* Undertake research and analysis to develop briefs, reports and submissions, and provide recommendations regarding strategic human resource initiatives.
* Develop, review and implement policies, procedures, guidelines, work instructions and other materials that support strategic human resource initiatives.
* Participate in purpose based networks, team activities, professional development and training programs related to the TAFE Queensland Workforce Plan.
* Contribute to the success of transformational and cultural change by promoting and modelling the established values of Safety First, Working Together, Focussing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative.
How you will be assessed
The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:

* Demonstrated experience across a variety of human resources areas including leadership and workforce development, workforce planning, policy and procedure development; workplace culture, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion and performance planning.
* Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal, written, consultation, negotiation and facilitation skills working with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills to provide concise and meaningful advice and recommendations relating to human resource strategies and associated projects.
* Displays flexibility, responsiveness and initiative with the ability to work as part of a small team in a challenging and changing environment.
Highly Desirable Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or project management.
