The Senior Advisor (Motor Operations) is integral to providing insights across the Motor Business.
In this role you will support the timely delivery of performance insights in line with strategic outcomes. Using data to make Business recommendations is core to the role.
What you'll do
- Develop sequel code (SQL) to obtain underlying data for analysis and insights
- Partner with business stakeholders across Motor Claims and Ops acting as a key advisor, providing insights and an understanding of business drivers
- Undertake deep dive analysis aligned with strategic objectives
- Conduct trend analysis
- Make business recommendations to drive better cost, customer and operational outcomes
- Consider end to end business impacts, Claims, Distribution, Pricing & Portfolio
- Support Portfolio health initiatives, progress aged claims, reduce repair life, reduce hire car period and improve customer experience
- Create innovative strategic solutions to create value for business stakeholders across Motor Claims
- Ability to interact well with team members and leaders
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantitative Subject Area (e.g. Statistics, Actuarial, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science). Desired
- Typically, this role would have 5+ years of relevant experience (in an Advanced Analytical or Data Science related field of work)
- Understanding of Motor Claims strongly desirable
- Previous experience using Tableau advantageous
- SQL experience highly desirable
