YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE
Peter Mac is a globally leading cancer centre, increasingly recognized for the impact our research has in translating into better outcomes for patients with cancer. A key component of our success in driving research translation has been in our ability to collaborate with other leading global cancer centres, and with industry. These research collaborations have rapidly grown in their scale and impact over the last 5 years and are coordinated through a structured program: The Peter Mac Industry Alliances and Partnerships (IA&P) program. This program now manages Peter Mac's involvement in five leading global academic-industry partnerships including Roche/Genentech, Astra Zeneca, Bristol Myer Squibb, Amgen and Glaxo Smith Kline. These network partnerships enable deep academic engagement and collaboration with industry partners and peer academic sites across broad research domains from pre-clinical to sponsored clinical research and clinical trials.
This newly established role, as the Senior Alliance Manager IA&P will provide a pivotal link between Peter Mac researchers and industry partners enabling academic collaboration across research domains. The role provides an exciting opportunity to work directly with Peter Mac researchers and industry partners to develop, implement and manage delivery of research projects and initiatives that meet the strategic objectives of the Peter Mac Research Strategy, and will report to the Manager of the IA&P Program.
