How you'll make an impact
The purpose of the role is to oversee and maintain integrity/currency of data entered and received from providers within the trading platform (Aladdin) and security mastering (Eagle Pace) applications, providing confidence from downstream business consumers, either systems or people, in usage, distribution and Reporting of data.
The role is responsible for the day-to-day processes that form the Start of Day and End of Day operating model. The role is expected to manage exceptions, engaging and informing impacted stakeholders until resolution.
The role is responsible for ensuring the AMP Investment data meets regulatory and compliance obligations, both internally and externally (regulators).
What you will bring to the team
- Abroad understanding of investment data management discipline and basic understanding of investment management, investment operations, product management and custodial services.
- Experienced understanding of Investment Management; and broad understanding of the overall Group (AU Wealth Management) and its competitive environment.
- Sets and achieves operational targets, objectives or service standards with a short to medium term focus, that directly impact the results of Investment Operations.
- Applies emerging technical capability within own operational area/department.
- Analyse both routine and varied issues of differing complexity and modifies working methods/processes in own job, sometimes without the benefit of defined procedures.
- Applies good problem-solving skills as scope of issues may be only vaguely defined or difficult.
- Identify areas to improve data automation and partner with colleagues to implement solutions.
- Ability to work cohesively with senior staff when dealing with complex issues or larger clients, prospects, projects, accounts, relationships.
- Experienced professional with 5+ years of operational experience in the fund management industry, with user knowledge of data integrity management, reconciliations, and asset pricing.
- Good knowledge of Australian & International securities/assets/derivatives.
