The Workplace Integrity team is a part of Deloitte Risk Advisory team in Australia. Together, we have experience across multiple industry sectors in IR, employment law, workplace relations, payroll and data analytics. We deal with the complexity of Australian workplace legislation and frameworks, and provide an objective lens to support our clients, tailoring solutions that are fit-for-purpose. We take a pragmatic approach to the interpretation and application of industrial instruments, applying a risk and data perspective to make a real impact for our clients.Enough about us, let's talk about you.
We are looking for talented people with a passion for IR and a natural curiosity to solve complex client problems aligned with business strategies and supported by data. Our clients are large complex companies and you will be driven to help them build sustainable IR strategies for success.You are smart, agile, open-minded, and pragmatic in your interactions with our diverse range of stakeholders. You are adept at translating complex, technical IR information into simple, understandable concepts that all stakeholders can relate to. With substantial hands-on experience interpreting industrial legislation, you have a sound knowledge of the Fair Work system and an innate understanding of the relevant stakeholders. A deep understanding of, and experience interpreting the complexities of long service leave legislation across Australia will be considered favourably. Above all, you are someone with the utmost integrity, who holds confidentiality and discretion at your core.You may have all or some of the following skills and experience:
- Experience in IR and employment legislation compliance and strategy;
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws including the Fair Work Act 2009 and State and Territory based industrial laws, in particular long service leave;
- Excellent eye for detail and ability to think logically, critically, and to solve problems with a risk lens;
- Demonstrated ability to think “outside the box” and a passion for simplification and process improvement whilst embedding IR compliance;
- Exemplary demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, in particular, the ability to contextualise and communicate complex IR concepts accurately and in appropriate terms to all stakeholders;
- A collaborative and consultative approach to teamwork with a natural curiosity for new ideas and perspectives to achieve innovative solutions; and
- Tertiary and/or higher education qualifications in Industrial Relations or Employment Law.
