About the Opportunity:
As a Senior Asset Manager, you will oversee operational activities of the commercial property portfolio, ensuring excellent tenant service, optimal property performance, and compliance.
The role aims to enhance asset value, maximise revenue, and ensure cost-effective operations through strategic planning and effective management of property resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management; maximizing the value of the properties whilst minimizing risk
- Property Operations and Maintenance; ensuring well-maintained, safe and compliant buildings, whilst undertaking schedule inspections
- Landlord, Tenant and Lease Administration; exceptional customer service ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Vendor and Compliance Oversight; negotiate and manage contracts and ensure all activities are compliant with legislation
- Leadership and Strategic Planning; formulate and implement strategic plans whilst mentoring property team
- Onboarding of new properties
- Compile annual budgets whilst undertaking lease audits from time to time
About the Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a senior property position (ideally a minimum of 5 years in commercial)
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate, property financials and building systems
- Excellent and proven negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suits and property management software (Cirrus 8 preferred)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
