What you’ll deliver with us
As our Senior Business Analyst - IAM you will report directly into the Business Analyst Practice Lead to enable the enterprise to articulate needs and the rationale for change, and to design and describe solutions that can deliver value. This is a completely project funded role in our Cyber Resilience Program. We are looking for a tenured Business Analyst who has experience working on Identity access management/Identity governance projects and who ideally has had exposure to SailPoint.
You’ll also
- Maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix by ensuring testing verifies requirements, documentation is delivered.
- Support functional testing which extends to assisting with Testing Services regression and also Technical Recovery Plan testing.
- Plan business analysis, manage requirements lifecycle, analyse business context, develop requirements and evaluate solutions.
- Supporting infrastructure testing (assisting the application support team with testing infrastructure requirements that are not covered by regression testing nor performance testing that Testing Services teams will execute).
- Developing operating support model, a shared responsibility model across the application technical support team, Cloud Engineering (base AWS infrastructure) and various infrastructure teams (Database Services, Backup and Recovery Services, Service Monitoring)
- Engage in service transition activities including tracking change management and operational readiness requirements.
About you
You will have experience working with transformation projects and teams as a Senior Business Analyst. You will have experience with creating service transition artefacts, for example updating knowledge base articles, ensuring the application technical support team has all the material they need to run the migrated platform in AWS Cloud (technical instructions, guides, procedures etc.). The professional services provider will be delivering the content for the technical documentation, the project will need to ensure it is easily accessible and consumable by internal teams.
You’ll also need
- 8-10+ years working as a Business Analyst with experience delivering projects in Identity access management/Identity governance.
- Exposure to SailPoint is highly relevant as is cloud knowledge and infrastructure experience.
- To be proficient in user stories, traceability matrix, process mapping, data modelling, gap analysis and workshopping.
- Firm understanding of the employee lifecycle (joiner, mover, leaver), including what user access reviews are, typical functions an IAM platform performs to manage employee access, and what identity service providers are (Active Directory, AzureAD/EntraID)
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse set of project stakeholders under tight deadlines, particularly with internal stakeholders in the Identity & Access Management, Administration, Testing Services, AP infrastructure teams and external professional services provides.
