About the role:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for an enterprise wide analysis to understand the problem and define the solution for Store Customer Platform services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Enhance business systems by providing accurate information about business needs and priorities
- Provides leadership and drives business initiatives to completion
- Analyse and consolidate information to develop business cases to support achievement of business objectives
- Provide plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences
- Build strong business partnerships and deliver detailed business cases
- Work with key stakeholders to identify how changing business requirements may be delivered with existing IT solutions
- Provide a deep functional understanding of IT solutions
- Able to translate business requests into Functional Specifications
- Establish relationships with stakeholders to develop trust and ensure reliable and accurate information
- Works across both single and cross-function projects / assignments
- Assist in Project Management and Governance
About you and your skills:
- Formal tertiary qualification preferred
- Significant experience in a Senior Business Analyst role
- Strong experience in the development of business cases
- Experience in Agile Methodology
- Experience in retail environment mandatory
- Experience utilising tools such as JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint
- Able to harness information and opportunities
- Values specialist expertise and capitalises on the knowledge and skills of others within the team and broader organisation.
- Strong Leadership skills
- Confidently presents messages in a clear, concise and articulate manner. Focuses on key points and uses appropriate, unambiguous language. Selects the most appropriate medium for conveying information and structures written and oral communication to ensure clarity.
