Little Bay Bar & Eatery are currently seeking an experienced Sous chef looking to grow, to join our tight-knit, hard working team.
Hours are flexible for the right chef with the option of early or late starts and finishes.
Experience and qualities:
- A Proven experience in a similar role
- A positive attitude & strong communication standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, and most weekends
- Absolute accountability and ownership
- A strong focus on food and service standards
- Attention to detail
Day to day responsibilities:
- Working all areas in the kitchen, ensuring all food that leaves the kitchen meets the high standard expected
- Working as a team to prepare for a la carte service
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Working pans section, for both breakfast and lunch service
- Troubleshooting problems that arise on a daily basis
- Promote & practice safe work habits, reporting safety hazards and inconsistencies to kitchen management
- Follow correct waste management procedures
