This is an exciting opportunity for a senior analyst to join Western Health’s newly established Group Planning and Financial Sustainability Team. The role will specialise in Clinical Costing; specifically, to maintain and refine the costing models, develop cost allocation methodologies and ensure the accuracy of data flowing in and out of the software. The role will also drive the development of analytics, insights and reporting of Clinical Costing information to promote financially sustainability decision-making.
To be Successful in this Role, you will:
- Employ a high level of professionalism, underpinned by a tertiary qualification in a related discipline (including, but not limited to, economics, accounting, health information, I.T)
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical and reasoning skills to enable the preparation of accurate costings that reflect Western Health’s clinical services (knowledge of Victorian casemix funding principles and the DH Policy & Funding Guidelines are desirable but not essential)
- Possess an excellent knowledge of information systems and databases that will translate data into useful information in a manner that can be easily interpreted by non-financial stakeholders
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment towards customer service and a continuous learning mindset
