Your New Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, and leading an analyst, you will be the senior analyst in the team providing decision support, market research, data based insights, financial analysis of performance with your expert eye for key performance indicators and trends. Beyond just running the numbers, you are a key stakeholder who will present information both internally and externally to senior leadership using your well developed presentation skills. As the Company focuses on continuous improvement, you'll ensure you don't accept the status quo - but ask why, and find new and better ways to do things. You may also act as commercial manager when they are away.
Core responsibilities cut across - capital expenditures, business cases, evaluating new tenders/ supply & demand pricing/ business development activities, market research on a global level of competitors and key customers, preparing board papers, periodic reports and business strategy. Analyse customer spend by product, by region, by margin, and more.
Your Profile

You will bring with you a high performance background, rapid ascension up the corporate ladder with demonstrated promotions in medium to larger organisations in complex environments. It is likely you have a very strong academic background and post graduate qualifications in a business/finance discipline. You are a team player who has leadership capability and are a continuous learner with a positive mindset. Your existing skills including building detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, business cases, decision support. Your report writing and presentation skills are polished and proven in front of GM, C-Suite executives, as you are a confident presenter. You are hands on, in the detail, results focused and driven/ambitious.
