Salary/Level: Level 4, $87,712 - $92,057 p.a. plus Superannuation
Tenure: 24-Month Fixed-Term, Full-Time Position (part-time considered) (with the possibility of extension or permanency)

Kings Park and Botanic Garden is a world-leading botanic garden and the most visited destination in Perth. Managed by the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority, it offers a prestigious work environment among some of the highest profile parklands, gardens and programs in the State.
The Senior Communications and Marketing Officer assists the Communications and Marketing Coordinator in developing and delivering communications strategies to enhance BGPA’s brand presence, reputation, and community engagement.
This role will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather information, craft key messages, and ensure consistent brand representation.
This role requires the ability to work independently as well as a combination of creative thinking, strong and diverse communication skills and technical proficiency to effectively engage and connect with audiences.

Selection Criteria
- A minimum of four years of experience in a similar role and a tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or an equivalent field.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting the implementation of internal and external communications plans, delivering strategic communications support, and media management.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills including the demonstrated ability to proof, edit and write content for websites, newsletters, publications and other media, communicating information in a clear and effective manner relevant to the target audience.
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Suite including Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro to complete tasks and responsibilities.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to organise effectively and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
