Senior Competitions Coordinator

Due to an internal promotion, Basketball ACT is now seeking and energetic sport professional to fill the role of Senior Competitions Coordinator.Reporting to the Competitions Manager, the Senior Competitions Coordinator is accountable for the day-to-day delivery and coordination of Basketball ACT Senior domestic and 3v3 competitions.About youAs the Senior Competitions Manager:

• Previous experience in coordinating, monitoring and administrating competition programs for a Sporting Association or equivalent.
• Experience with or demonstrated understanding of sport competition software such as Play HQ
• Can demonstrate understanding of competition management principles and delivery.
• You are a strong communicator and able to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
• you are highly organized and structured in your approach, but equally understand the need to be flexible at times to suit the circumstances

With over 785 teams across junior and Senior Competitions, over three hundred referees and officials, as well as hundreds of volunteers, Basketball ACT is recognised as one of the largest basketball associations in Australia.Basketball ACT owns and operates the Belconnen Basketball Stadium located at 42 Oatley Court Belconnen ACT which is planned for expansion in the near future; and operates out of a range of other externally owned facilities across Canberra.Essential Requirements
