About the role
The Senior Coordinator, Accommodation Services is responsible for the development and delivery of Cancer Council Queensland’s Statewide Accommodation Support program.
- Develop and coordinate the delivery of CCQ’s Statewide Accommodation Support program to meet strategic objectives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise opportunities for partnerships with accommodation providers across the state.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance and evaluation of documentation, record-keeping, procedures, and processes to ensure the program is delivered in line with guidelines and standards.
- An understanding of the impact that a cancer diagnosis and treatment has on individuals, their partners, and families.
- Experience in program development, including implementation and evaluation.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and build and maintain relationships and networks
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office, contact management systems and lodge accommodation software.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Understanding of current practices and approaches to accommodation and community support initiatives.
- Ability to use sound judgment and to manage workloads within tight deadlines.
- Organisational skills including the ability to organise, manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
- Analytical skills and ability to develop reports demonstrating trends, patterns and need across the region.
- Understanding around the principles of project management
- Current Queensland Driver Licence is required.
- Limited travel may be required.
