They have an enviable internal culture that is positive, progressive, collaborative, and supportive of it's team members. They are now seeking a technically strong and high-calibre Senior Corporate Accountant to lead their Finance division in a newly created role.
The Role | Reporting into the CFO and GM
Your key responsibilities include:
- Monthly and annual financial reporting (including risks, opportunities and financial commentary) for the organisation
- Developing financial models to support business activities and initiatives
- Lead, mentor and build out the finance department
- Ongoing oversight and improvement of financial controls, systems and processes
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and tax obligations
- Provide high level advice and assistance to the GM and SLT on all financial issues
You will have an excellent technical accounting base with a proven ability to handle a varied workload. It is also essential that you are able to engage and influence key stakeholders across all levels with your first class communication skills. To succeed, you will have an ability to balance your detail-driven personality with the capacity to understand the bigger picture.
Other requirements include:
- CA / CPA qualified
- Circa 3-5 years experience within the Property Development/Construction industry
- Big 4 / Mid-Tier upbringing is highly desirable
