Senior Development Manager - Commercial

Melbourne based Commercial Fund Manager, Castlerock Property, due to growth are seeking a new Senior Development Manager to join the team.

Scouted has been engaged exclusively on assignment to recruit a Senior Development Manager for Melbourne based Commercial Fund Manager, Castlerock.
The Role:
Due to growth and a successful acquisition and divestment strategy over the last 24 months, Castlerock are looking for an experienced and proven Senior Development Manager to join the team. You will lead the successful acquisition and delivery of commercial property developments throughout Australia whilst managing the in-flow of development deals and building long-term relationships with key tenants to ensure their ongoing tenure.
Your key areas of focus will be:

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of Castlerock’s developments to ensure successful delivery of contract and tenant satisfaction.
• Lead the property development team and manage Castlerock’s Junior Development Manager
• Manage the acquisition pipeline of development opportunities,
• Establish and manage development feasibilities and manage cost of development,
• Preparation and analysis of reports to allow the business to make informed decisions and adjustments to ensure the best structure of leases and rents,
• Contribute to the wellbeing and engagement of staff by adding to a culture of collaboration, encouragement, achievement and satisfaction

What Castlerock are looking for:

• You have experience in the commercial property development industry
• You have experience in identifying, securing and delivering pre-committed commercial property developments
• You’re a people person, someone who knows how to collaborate with others and can work across a broad range of teams
• You have an existing, established network within the property development sector
• If you’ve worked with a Property Funds Manager before it’s helpful but not mandatory.
• You’ve got great written and verbal communication skills
• You’re a creative thinker & have a client first approach
