Here's a fantastic job opportunity for you to bring products from manufacturing via a distribution footprint to customers and consumers! You need to ensure that LEGO products are timely, in full (vs. sales orders), and received in good quality by our AU and NZ retail customers as well as LEGO.com shoppers!
Core responsibilities- Take full ownership and drive outstanding distribution performance for our AU B2B, NZ B2B, and ANZ B2C operations.
- Proactively lead operations excellence for Australia & New Zealand distribution via KPI performance tracking. Among these KPI’s are: DC capacity (storage, inbound/outbound throughput, including any value-added services required to serve our customers in the market), OTIF, RDC to LDC on time vs. agreed lead time, and distribution cost are within budget.
- Lead appointed 3PL to find concrete logistics and warehouse solutions for short-, mid-, and long-term challenges.
- Provide strong governance and actively lead gap closure towards the appointed 3PL, ensuring performance vs. service level agreement and being in line with LEGO Group standards and expectations.
- Partner with the procurement team to ensure 3PL services meet business requirements and consistently pursue continuous improvement. Provide regular feedback on 3PL performance vs service level agreement and suggestions for improvements to the supplier partnership.
- Excellent partner collaboration with LEGO Retail, ANZ BU (Sales and Market Ops), and SCO functions (e.g., customer logistics, supply & inventory planning, and demand management), including finance, to meet service, cost, and inventory objectives for the region.
- Proactive collaboration with business owners is necessary to achieve fulfillment of business requirements and enable sales and delivery service in day-to-day fulfillment operations.
- BSC degree or equivalent experience, preferably with an engineering, operations, or Operations, Supply Chain Management background.
- Certification in LEAN thinking, Six Sigma methodology, and Project Management would be a plus
- Proven experience within logistics and distribution in APAC would be preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work with logistics and distribution for leading FMCG, consumer goods, and luxury brands is highly recommended.
- A proven track record of leading cross-functional regional and global supply chain improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated knowledge of distribution operations and solid experience in handling 3PL’s.
- Passion for delivering results through teamwork and collaboration, leveraging strong communication and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated experience in managing senior-level partners and working in a diverse and multi-functional working environment.
- Team-oriented, possesses good interpersonal and communication skills, and has the capability to manage assigned responsibilities independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, experience in deriving insights from various data sources, and strong presentation skills.
- Advanced English.
