ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role you'll play a pivotal part in providing strategic financial support to our Asset and Leadership Teams. Your responsibilities will include delivering accurate and timely operational, performance, and financial data to enable informed decision-making aligned with our strategic objectives.
More about the role:
- Partner with the business to deliver insightful financial analysis and reporting, supporting cost reduction initiatives and driving operational efficiencies.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and forecasts, utilising analytical insights and fostering collaboration across the organisation.
- Drive accountability for cost management within the Frontline Leadership team.
- Contribute to Asset strategy development and long-term financial planning processes.
- Monitor performance metrics to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
ABOUT YOU
You will come with hands-on experience in dynamic commercial and finance roles. Your background in the energy industry, specifically Oil & Gas, along with joint venture experience, will position you for success in this role. Proficient in navigating complex accounting systems like SAP, together with experience using advanced planning and business intelligence tools will assist you to drive operational efficiency and deliver tangible results.

- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and excel in stakeholder management, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Proven leadership in finance responsibilities, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, to optimise financial performance.
- Exceptional written communication skills to effectively convey complex strategic problems, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Holding a relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce, alongside CA or CPA certification.
