Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Director, Finance and Corporate Services, the Senior Finance& Revenue Business partner will provide high quality financial information and business support to the Auburn Hospital executive and facility management. The position will support the effective management of resources, budget compliance and revenue optimisation. The Senior Finance& RevenueBusiness Partner will:
- Manage, coordinate and provide leadership in the finance and revenue department.
- Collaborate with senior management to achieve the desired financial outcomes of the organisation.
- Support the executive in meeting their financial targets, obligations and KPIs through undertaking budget development, financial and activity analyses, and performance reporting.
- Support the Director, Finance and Corporate Services in ensuring business principles are embedded focusing on safety, quality and service improvement.
- Drive the optimization of revenue across the facility, including patient and non-patient related revenue. This requires the establishment and maintenance of strong partnerships and implementation of monitoring tools to measure initiatives.

Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in management, business or accounting supported by extensive equivalent experience within a health setting.
- Business partnering experience with an approach to continuous improvement and the ability to coach and mentor team members to achieve organisational goals with the ability to reflect on own performance and feedback to inform improvement.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills that support the primary business function of a large organisation
- Experience and demonstrated capacity to manage a health revenue service, knowledge of the public health system and funding models, including ABF
- Demonstrated management expertise with experience in leading, mentoring, developing, and managing the performance of a team.
- Demonstrated use of analytical skills using financial, statistical, human resources and management data systems to proactively improve performance
- High level multi-tasking and prioritization skills with the ability to apply sound judgement and meet deadlines in order to respond to sensitive and complex matters
