Senior Financial Accountant (Group) - Large Global Media Group

A large Global Media Group is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Head Office.

Duties will include:

• Group budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and commentary.
• Working closely with key stakeholders to develop accurate group forecasts.
• Preparation of half yearly and year end financial statements.
• Consolidating and preparing the annual statutory accounts.
• Local, regional and global financial reporting.
• Ownership of the Group balancesheet.
• Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external audit.
• Preparation of BAS, FBT and Consolidated Tax returns.
• Continuous process improvement.

You should be a CA or CPA qualified with 4 - 8 years technical accounting experience from a large blue chip Group environment. Given the amount of internal stakeholder interaction and the high profile nature of this role you should have excellent communications skills.
