With a reputation for excellence and innovation, they are seeking a talented Senior Fire & Hydraulic Engineer to join their dynamic team in Melbourne. Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Fire & Hydraulic Engineer to take a lead role in our clients Melbourne office. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, and providing technical expertise to support the successful delivery of projects. Responsibilities: Design Expertise: Develop innovative and efficient fire protection and hydraulic designs for a range of projects, considering local regulations and industry best practices. Code Compliance: Ensure all designs and solutions comply with relevant local, state, and national codes and standards. Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical advice, and build strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to integrate fire and hydraulic systems seamlessly into building designs. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with fire and Hydraulic Engineering aspects of projects. Documentation: Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in Fire or Hydraulic Engineering. Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred. Extensive knowledge of local building codes and standards.
