Senior Laboratory Technician (Ctu)

Linear Clinical Research Ltd is an internationally recognised, not-for-profit. Founded by the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research (Perkins), Linear has Western Australia's only dedicated early phase clinical trials facilities located in Nedlands and Joondalup where we focus on early phase clinical trials across a broad range of therapeutic areas.
Here at Linear that includes a broad oncology portfolio that continues to expand as we open the Advanced Cancer Trials Centre (ACTC) in early 2024, the first of its kind facility in Australia dedicated to bringing novel therapies through clinical trials to the cancer patients of Western Australia. The ACTC is situated on the QEII Medical precinct, directly next to the WA State Cancer Centre.
Job Description
Your role in our future
We are looking for an experienced Senior Laboratory Technician ready to be responsible for the setup and delivery of assigned clinical trial studies. If you thrive in a fast paced environment and love structure and procedures then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities include:

• You will have overall knowledge and understanding of study milestones and deliverables that will help guide the team.
• Ensure study preparation and documentation is completed before the commencement of a trial
• Support the day-to-day coordination of laboratory activities
• Act as the point of call to ensure that laboratory staff and resources are monitored and efficiently rostered
• Ensure that all trial documentation is completed to a high quality standard
• Oversee the monitoring and management of biological samples

This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, MRSA, TB and Pertussis. Pre-employment checks will be conducted.

Your experience
You will be an individual who thrives under pressure and takes initiative whilst handling competing priorities. The key to your success will be your tertiary qualification in a science related field and your experience in a clinical trial setting as well as:
