Come work with us We have an exciting opportunity in our Clinical Application Services Team, for a Senior Capability Manager. The Clinical Application Services Team delivers mission critical systems which clinicians across NSW Health rely on to provide 24 x 7 critical care. Reporting to the eMR Platform Owner. A key aspect of the role will be to contribute to a team supporting the core technology infrastructure for our Epic Systems eMR, with a focus on managing the teams capability and capacity. The Epic eMR is the foundation and primary application for the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) program. SDPR will provide a secure, holistic, and integrated view of the care a patient receives across the NSW Health system, enabling clinicians to access a patient's medical information in real time from a single source. What you will do Your team will support the core technology infrastructure for SDPR by: Taking accountability for the design, implementation, and operations of hosting the Epic software solution on the Amazon Web Services Public Cloud platform. Supporting the SDPR program's capability to deliver subsequent implementation schedules to time, budget, and quality. Aligning team practices with eHealth NSW’s Service Delivery Operating Model. You will: Bridge the technical expertise of Amazon Web Services, Epic Systems, the SDPR program, eMR Platform Owner and the hosting team. Ensure that the eMR system meets regulatory standards and is optimised for performance, availability, and scalability. Manage cloud hosting team resources, training, and other workforce needs, allowing for seamless eMR operations. Work collaboratively with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders including platform and product owners, solution architects, engineers, project team members and SME’s from our partners AWS and Epic. About you We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who have: Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent leadership experience in managing cloud enabled capability teams including ICT resource management, in a large or complex shared services environment. Extensive experience leading teams with the ability to motivate, build strong capabilities and develop talent into a performance based and customer focused work culture. Extensive experience analysing resource utilisation, capacity and capability planning against business needs and scheduling resources to assignments. Demonstrated experience in vendor or corporate partner, contract negotiations, procurement, resource augmentation and engagement management procedures in an ICT environment.
